Branford School Readiness Council: Conducted focus groups to assess the availability, quality and use of community services for families in Branford. Integrated results with existing survey data.
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven: Conducted information gathering and a knowledge inventory of Community Foundation materials relating to early care and education. Analyzed materials, identified key messages and developed products for use in the Community Foundation's Knowledge Transfer Project.
The Connecticut Community Foundation:Conducted a scan of current programming and services available to seniors in the Greater Waterbury Region and assessed older adult resident needs and barriers to accessing lifelong learning opportunities.
Family Service of Greater Waterbury, Inc.: Designed an interview tool and analyzed interview results and conducted research to support a strategic planning process.
The Greater Hartford Literacy Council: Researched promising practices in the delivery of literacy services, with a specific focus on Family Literacy, Adult Literacy, Youth Literacy, Corrections Literacy and Workplace Literacy. Conducted program interviews, analyzed data and developed a report outlining promising practices for each program type.
Rovins Educational Group: Researched and drafted quarterly public education foundation newsletter.
The Town of Southbury: Conducted a social services needs assessment. Used data from social service provider interviews, focus groups, a resident survey and and administrative data to develop recommendations for local leaders.
The Center for Assessment and Policy Development: Work as part of a team conducting a multi-year evaluation of the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund's Discovery Initiative. Conduct site visits and analyze data for Intensive Site Study component of the evaluation. Track early education policy in Connecticut for Policy Study component of the work. Work with team to deliver evaluation workshops.
